About Lynn

Lynn is a warm and devoted advocate for the special bond between humans and their dogs, wholeheartedly committed to helping owners deeply connect with and understand their canine companions. Her journey began in 2007 with Hero, her beloved Golden Retriever, whose unwavering spirit became both her greatest inspiration and the heartfelt motivation behind her charity, Thankful Paws. As Hero grew older, Lynn lovingly became a Certified Canine Massage Therapist, seeking gentle ways to ease his struggles with arthritis and Cushing’s Disease. What started as a tender act of love blossomed into her life’s purpose: Lynn now shares her empathy and insight by speaking regularly on the dangers of cumulative stress in both humans and dogs, as well as the emerging risks that AI may bring to the dog world. Her mission is to nurture deeper, more compassionate relationships and to honor the authenticity of every canine experience.

Lynn has been interviewed by CBS, NBC, FOX, and ABC, and has been featured in several publications, including The Beacon, the Baltimore Sun, Country Woman Magazine, The Jeffersonian, The Capital Gazette, Maryland Dog Magazine, and Baltimore Magazine. Additionally, Lynn is a sought-after keynote speaker and lecturer on topics such as Pet Disaster Preparedness, the Importance of the Human-Animal Bond, and Dogs and Artificial Intelligence.  She has earned multiple community awards and two Governor's Citations for her philanthropic work with Thankful Paws, the charity she founded.
